So the bruising is receding, the swelling is going down. My reaction to the morphine is resolved. My hunger for real food.... not so much.
But today the only issue is that one of the appliances they inserted onto my braces to hold the strong elastics that keep my mouth shut is now piercing through my lip.
Despite that I'd say it's a good day today.
